THINgloss is a lip gloss that can purportedly suppress your appetite by its aroma and ingredients. Appetite suppressants are great for overeaters (which are basically all of us). Unfortunately most appetite suppressants don’t work and are just a waste of time and money so finding an effective appetite suppressant can be a real challenge.

In this review we’ll take you behind our research and analysis of THINgloss.

Ingredients in THINgloss

There are two major issues that we have with THINgloss, which make us question its effectiveness:

First, THINgloss’s ingredients are applied topically, rather than digested like traditional fat burners. Although topical treatments can have an impact, they are not nearly as potent as oral treatments (especially a treatment applied to your lips). Just how big of an effect you will receive from the ingredients in THINgloss is debatable and not proven by science.  

Secondly, THINgloss does not contain any ingredients that are backed by any credible scientific research to provide weight loss.

The main ingredient in THINgloss appears to be Hoodia Gordonii. For the past several years fat burner companies have touted Hoodia as being the next miracle weight loss ingredient. Although these claims sound great, Hoodia Gordonii is not backed by one clinical study. Worse, hoodia gordonii based products have traditionally garnered negative customer reviews, so we are not sold on Hoodia Gordonii.

Other ingredients in THINgloss include Kola Nut (won’t provide significant results), Cinnamon (not a high enough dosage to provide substantial results), Vanilla and Peppermint (won’t help weight loss efforts), DMAE and Vitamin E (great for skin but won’t help with weight loss).

THINgloss Ingredient Profile Conclusion-A topical hoodia-based treatment has disappointment written all over it. THINgloss needs a major ingredient profile overhaul if it is going to deliver on its claims.

There are no known side effects associated with THINgloss unless you are allergic to an ingredient.

Final Thoughts

THINgloss was created by April Morris (never heard of her), who starred in the “ABC Hit Show Shark Tank” (never heard of it). THINgloss is purportedly backed by scientific research (nothing credible).

Although it would be great if losing weight was as easy as putting on some lip gloss, the science behind THINgloss does not check out. Besides the 30 day money back guarantee, there are not a lot of positive things to say about THINgloss. It is hard for us to recommend a product with questionable effectiveness especially when there are proven fat burners available for roughly the same price.
