MeltRX 24 Ultra Review
MeltRX 24 Ultra is a thermogenic fat burner and appetite suppressant that claims to be the most effective ephedra-free fat burner in the world. So powerful in fact, that you can supposedly “lose weight without vigorous exercise or counting calories,” even up to 5 pounds per week. After checking out its ingredients, we can see that many of them have been clinically studied, though only a handful may have direct application to weight loss. There are a number of customer testimonials on the official website for MeltRX 24 Ultra, but they don’t mention anything about not having to exercise and diet to lose their weight. At a pretty high price (over $100 per month), it’s not clear you’re really getting your money’s worth with MeltRX 24 Ultra.
Ingredients in MeltRX 24 Ultra
While the official site lists 30 active ingredients aside from a vitamin/mineral complex, the product label only lists 23. In any case, the ingredients in the most significant dosages in include:
- Citrus aurantium extract – 300 mg – containing an undisclosed percentage of synephrine, this is a fairly potent stimulant which also acts as a vasoconstrictor.
- Green tea leaf extract – 200 mg – one of the most common thermogenic fat burners, green tea is rich in antioxidants and usually in caffeine, though this is apparently a de-caf extract.
- Phenylalanine – 200 mg – an essential amino acid which your body can turn into tyrosine and as well as use to make norepinephrine and dopamine. This is believed to improve mood, though there is no clinical evidence of this.
- Proprietary Blend: Green tea leaf, cinnamon twig, and galangal rhizome – 200 mg – aside from green tea, which is already listed, this blend may improve digestion and promote diuresis.
- Cha de bugre 10:1 extract – 200 mg – a Brazilian fruit which may also act as a diuretic, promoting water-loss through urination.
The rest of the ingredients listed in order of concentration are:
- Siberian ginseng – 100 mg
- Taurine – 100 mg
- Gymnema sylvestre extract – 100 mg
- Rhodiola rosea extract – 75 mg
- N-Acetyl-L -tyrosine – 50 mg
- Ginger Root – 40 mg
- Ginkgo biloba – 35 mg
- Vanadium chelate – 35 mg
- Cayenne pepper – 30 mg
- 5-HTP - 25 mg
- Alpha lipoic acid – 25 mg
- Coleus forskohlii extract – 25 mg
- Trimethylglycine hydrochloride – 25 mg
- Banaba extract – 16 mg
- Phosphatidylserine – 10 mg
- Fulvic Acid – 2.5 mg
- Bioperine – 2 mg
Possible Side Effects:
Due to the synephrine, though we aren’t told how much is in each dose of MeltRX 24 Ultra, it is possible that you may experience restlessness, anxiety, nausea, headache, elevated blood pressure or sleeplessness. From cha de bugre and other diuretics you will probably be hitting the rest room more often as well. Other potential side effects may include diarrhea and upset stomach.
You should consult a doctor before taking MeltRX 24 Ultra in any case, but especially if you are diabetic as it may affect blood sugar levels. You should also not thermogenic fat burners like MeltRX 24 Ultra if you are pregnant or nursing or under 18.
Does MeltRX 24 Ultra offer a Money-back Guarantee?
As each bottle of MeltRX 24 Ultra sells for $54 and only lasts 13 days, you would hope there would be a stellar satisfaction guarantee. However, you may only return one bottle within 30 days for a refund, less a 20% re-stocking fee. So, by the time you figure out if it works for you, you’ve already opened two bottles and won’t be getting all your money back on the first one anyway.
Final Thoughts
There are definitely some excellent ingredients in MeltRX 24 Ultra, such as synephrine, coleus forskohlii, cayenne and green tea. However, the dosage isn’t really strong enough (or really even disclosed in the case of synephrine) to justify $54 per bottle. The company guarantees big results with MeltRX 24 Ultra, but only after at least 2 weeks of use, which means you have to buy at least 2 bottles. This seems more like an excuse to sell you more than a real indication that MeltRX 24 Ultra is any better than other thermogenic fat burners for the price.
