What’s in it?

When looking at the bottle, you’ll find that there’s really not much on the ingredients list. Some might feel relieved by this and think, “Good! There’s no fillers they just get right to the good stuff!” Such optimists will be disappointed in finding that even though there are only 5 main ingredients, we can’t honestly say that they would all be considered high quality. In fact, there’s really only one thats even worth mentioning and thats green tea extract. Unfortunately though, its decaffeinated and this ingredient is best used when paired with caffeine. It will still provide antioxidants and polyphenols and might even lead to minor weight loss but for the most part when taking out the caffeine they took out the bulk of the weight loss benefits. L-Taurine is often used in dietary supplements because it regulates blood pressure and cholesterol, but doesn’t necessarily have direct weight loss benefits.

Prickly pear cactus extract, brassica oleracea, and baozine are all ingredients that are included but that have little to no evidence showing they are beneficial in a weight loss supplement. Brassica oleracea only showed positive results when tested on rats with diabetes. Prickly pear cactus extract is really only used by athletes who want an energy boost and to reduce soreness of the muscles. Baozine has little research done on it and the only positive effects that it may have on weight loss is by providing dietary fiber, vitamin C, and potassium.

Are there any side effects?

The upside to leaving out caffeine on this product is that it is stimulant-free and you therefore will not experience side effects such as the jitters, elevated heart rate, high blood pressure, headaches, or a crash hours later. That being said pregnant or nursing women, minors, or those that are high risk for liver, prostate, diabetes, or psychiatric disease or who have high blood pressure should not take this supplement. If you are taking any medications or have any medical conditions you should always consult a physician.

Are EST Suppressor Chewables worth buying?

Even at the low cost of around $20 this product isn’t worth buying. The ingredients included in it are so rarely used and lack scientific evidence backing them up.
