Gut Cut by Vigor Labs Review:
Gut Cut by Vigor Labs seems like a do-it-all kind of supplement. They claim that it will “inhibit fat/carb absorption, help regulate the thyroid, suppress appetite, suppress cortisol, boost energy, and give you more satisfying sex.”
Their website is pretty lame and you can tell a lot about a company just by checking out their website. First, the background is some half naked woman covered in cream looking all seductive. Using sex to sell anything and everything is not a new concept, but in this case it delegitimizes the product. Gut Cut by Vigor Labs is supposed to help you lose weight (and maybe increase libido) but it seems cheap and gimmicky with that picture. The other issue I have is they don’t really explain how or why it works. There is a complete list of ingredients but there is no mention of clinical trials or even a brief description of what each ingredient does. I guess they want you to focus so much on the chick in the background that you forget common sense.
Ingredients In Gut Cut by Vigor Labs:
The ingredients in Gut Cut by Vigor Labs include:
Green Tea Ext. (std 50% polyphenols, 35% catechins, 15% EGCG, 8% caffeine) (Camelia sinensis) (leaf) Caffeine, Hoodia Gordonii Extract (herb), Magnolia Extract (1.5% honokiol) (Magnoliae officinalis) (bark), Yerba Mate Extract (std. to 20% caffeine) (ilex paraguariensis) (leaf), Chitosan, Olive extract, white kidney bean extract, Sesamin, Vanadium, Aswagandha, calcium, selenium, and chromium (picolinate).
That formula is decent. Caffeine and green tea are well known stimulants and they can increase metabolism and energy levels. This can lead to an increase in fat burning and weight loss. However, some people are more sensitive to caffeine (and other stimulants) than others. This may result in unwanted side effects like jitteriness, headaches, anxiety, and elevated hear rate. Also, not everyone experiences the same weight loss benefits associated with caffeine and green tea. For some people it really doesn’t do much. That’s probably why people don’t take 5-Hour Energy to lose weight.
Other ingredients like Hoodia Gordonii and white kidney bean extract have some potential and have shown signs to aid in weight loss, but they are not yet proven effective.
Chitosan is a form of fiber and it should help you control cravings, but it doesn’t really suppress appetite.
There are some other helpful ingredients, but none of them is super powerful or unique.
Does Gut Cut by Vigor Labs Offer a Money Back Guarantee?
No. They only accept returns on unopened products.
Final Thoughts:
Gut Cut by Vigor Labs is actually pretty cheap. One bottle costs $19.95 and it lasts about a month. The average thermogenic fat burner costs around $40 so it is nice to see one on the lower end of the price spectrum. Unfortunately in this instance, you get what you pay for with Gut Cut by Vigor Labs. It will likely boost your energy and it may even help you burn some fat, but ultimately it falls short of other fat burners. Its formula is good not great. You should go with a proven product, guaranteed to work before trying a shot in the dark like Gut Cut by Vigor Labs.
