HyperTrop-X Review:
As explained on their website, “HyperTrop-X utilizes a targeted approach that incorporates three unique pathways in the form of a Pre-Workout Energizer, Muscle Endurance Enhancer and Muscle Protein Stimulator, in this unique and surprisingly powerful blend. Taken prior to workouts, your muscles will never feel so energized not just from the onset of training but throughout the entire workout. This is not your ordinary pre-workout supplement.”
They go on to explain how the ingredients work and what makes HyperTrop-X unique.
My first impression of HyperTrop-X is that it sounds legit. Without getting into too much detail about the ingredients (we’ll save that for the next section), Advanced Muscle Science or AMS (the makers of HyperTrop-X) do a good job of supporting their product with clinical trials and scientific data. Charts and diagrams can’t hurt when you’re trying to prove something effective. After reading all about HyperTrop-X my only beef is that it doesn’t seem all that unique to me. As I discuss the ingredients I will explain why.
Ingredients in HyperTrop-X:
The ingredients in HyperTrop-X include the following: Beta Alanine, L-Leucine, Peak ATP, and Yohimbine HCL.
First, Beta Alanine has been shown to increase the concentration of carnosine (a naturally occurring compound present mostly in brain and muscle tissue), decrease fatigue and increase the amount of work a muscle can do.
Second, Leucine is actually the only dietary protein that is capable of stimulating muscle protein synthesis. Taken as a dietary supplement, leucine can slow the “degradation of muscle tissue by increasing the synthesis of muscle proteins.”
Most people know what ATP is, but what is Peak ATP? Peak ATP elevates your body’s extracellular ATP levels. Your body has ATP (the energy molecule) both inside and outside its cells. Extracellular ATP “is a major regulator of vascular, cardiac and muscle functions.” By increasing it you can improve physical performance, recovery, strength, and overall energy levels.
Yohimbine is more commonly found in weight loss supplements than it is in muscle building ones. However, both processes are often related and Yohimbine “is added to the Hypertrop-X formulation…to assist in mobilizing fatty acids to be utilized as a fuel substrate during exercise.”
So why did I say that HyperTrop-X doesn’t seem unique? Well, as you can guess, these ingredients aren’t really a secret in the supplement world. Lots of “enhancers” use them because they work. Question is, are you getting a good deal with HyperTrop-X?
Does HyperTrop-X Offer a Money Back Guarantee?
No. AMS does not accept returns on opened products.
Final Thoughts:
One bottle of HyperTrop-X costs $34.95 before shipping. That price seems pretty reasonable to me. Often times these muscle enhancing supplements try to charge you 70+ bucks so it’s nice to see that HyperTrop-X is fair. Remember that it is not really a thermogenic fat burner. Burning may be a side product if you’re working out a lot, but HyperTrop-X is not intended to help you lose weight. It seems like it is meant for serious body builders and weight lifters. If you don’t work out often then it probably won’t be worth it. You can also find other products which are guaranteed, with the same ingredients, for a similar price.
