Irwin Naturals System-Six Review
Irwin Naturals System-Six claims that by taking their supplement it will help boost weight loss in six different ways; exercise and endurance, energy, mood metabolism, carbohydrate support, and antioxidants. Is it possible for a diet supplement to do all this? Personally I don’t think so, but I do think that System-Six does appear to come through on a couple of its promises, but I don’t think long-term weight loss is one of them. It also seems like System-Six is not the most user friendly diet supplement. They recommend that you take 6 pills every single day. This means that your bottle will go quickly and you will probably have to buy it twice a month instead of just once.
Ingredients in Irwin Naturals System-Six
System-Six boasts a long ingredient list that they claim all contribute to their 6 fold mission.
- Vitamin C, E, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B-12, Pantothenic Acid, Selenium, Choline, and Inositol all are nutrients that support a healthy body and enzymatic reactions. These vitamins should be important parts of everyone’s diet but in this supplement are not enough to even give us our daily value. A simple multivitamin would be more effective.
- Chromium supposedly helps the body process carbohydrates and fats more easily. Research to back this claim up has been mixed; some studies find it to aid in weight loss while others find no weight loss advantages.
- Cola is a natural form of caffeine and will give you an energy boost. It also may cause dizziness, headache, and insomnia.
- The Xenedrol blend containing Advantra Z claims to change the way your body metabolizes fat, which may result in fat loss. Because this is a relatively new supplement these claims have yet to be proven. This is a proprietary blend which makes me a bit wary because we do not know how much of the effective, more high quality ingredients are actually in the supplement.
- St. John’s Wort is a widely known herbal treatment for depression. It is said to improve mood and increase serotonin. One must use caution when taking St. John’s Wort. It can have negative side effects such as dizziness, confusion, and sedation. It also can interact adversely with other medications, so make sure to inform your physician before taking St. John’s Wort.
- 5-HTp is a dietary supplement used as an antidepressant, appetite suppressant, and sleep aid.
- Bioprene Complex is a thermogenic supplement that will hopefully speed up the user’s metabolism. Insufficient studies have been conducted to determine whether this is actually true. Adverse side effects have been reported such as moderate diarrhea and skin discomfort.
Does Irwin Naturals System-Six Offer a Money Back Guarantee?
Irwin Naturals System-Six is not sold on its official website therefore there is no money back guarantee. It is possible to receive a free sample from the Irwin Naturals website, however, it is not said how large that free sample is and whether it would be a sufficient amount for the consumer to try and figure out if it really worked for them.
Final Thoughts
There are a lot of claims System-6 makes and a lot of ingredients in the supplement to hopefully back those promises up. It seems that this supplement will give you the boost of energy it promises and it may even make your mood a bit more positive but I am not totally convinced that it will help you lose the weight. The ingredients that are specifically said to help with weight loss have not been totally proven to work. Also, the weight loss ingredients are all given as a proprietary blend, which makes me wonder how much of the blend is the effective, more high-quality ingredient such as Advantra Z.
