We all know how important fiber should be in our daily diet.  It can help with digestion, prevent certain diseases even cancer, and can help manage weight.  We also know how difficult it can be with a busy lifestyle to get the fiber recommended.  LuraLean by LEF is basically a fiber supplement that when taken claims to regulate glucose levels, helps you feel more full, and helps control your appetite.  It has even been said that this supplement can help lower your cholesterol.  Is this fiber supplement really much better than something you can buy at any grocery store?

The only active ingredient in LuraLean by LEF is 200 mg of the ingredient LuraLean.  LuraLean is derived from a fiber grown in Japan.  This fiber is also known as glucomannan, which is a common part of many diet supplements.  However, LuraLean claims it is much better than glucomannan because of the intense purification process it undergoes after it is harvested.  All of its imperfections and impurities are removed to ensure that it does not break down while it is being digested.

Once LuraLean is ingested it then interacts with stomach liquid to expand up to 200 times its original size.  This will hopefully create a feeling of fullness and satisfactions helping the user suppress their appetite.  It then impedes the breakdown and assimilation of dietary fats by “soaking up” bile acids in the small intestine, shuttling them safely out of the body.  One downside to LuraLean by LEF is that is does not distinguish between good and bad fats.  It will also try to remove the Omega-3 Fatty Acids out of your system which are essential for nutritious living.

LuraLean by LEF seems to be a great way to get fiber and help control your appetite and cravings.  It does seem to be a bit more superior to a simple fiber supplement.  However, if you are looking for a diet supplement that does more than this, such as stimulate your metabolism and help actually get rid of fat stores this is not the supplement you should be taking.
