Hi there. I’ve decided I’m on a personal crusade to debunk all the crazy diet pill names out there. Sometimes a company will provide the proverbial “rhyme and reason” for a product name–but in the case of EST’s Spirodrene–no such luck.
Anyway I digress…
Here’s a non-bias review from outside of EST’s official website:
“I got my Spirodrene last week and I think it is okay but not great. The label states there is an ingredient list for “Immediate Release” and “Secondary Release”.
As for Immediate Release it takes about 45 minutes after taking it before I notice anything. I start to notice I’m a little more awake and that’s about it. I don’t feel a surge of energy or an increase in intensity. I workout early in the mornings so I wanted something that would wake me up and get me ready to go workout. This really doesn’t do it.
I can’t feel when the “Secondary Release” happens. I didn’t expect to feel anything but since it has Methyl Synephrine, Yohimbine HCL in it I was expecting to be a little jittery or shaky when it kicked in but I haven’t noticed anything.
The one positive I will say is that I don’t crash from using it but I really don’t get much energy from it as well. Overall the product is okay but nothing great.”
Spirodrene is a ‘take once a day’ fat burner that has that ‘time release’ mechanism the reviewer spoke of that supposedly gives all day sustainable energy without the dreaded spike and crash. Here are the claims:

- Spirodrene was created after three years of research and development!
- Sustained release formula!
- Ramp up your metabolism!
- Get insane energy!
- Enjoy the immediate results through Spirodrene’s multi-pathways!
YES! But why the name ‘SPIRODRENE’? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?
Ingredients in Spirodrene
Two words–PROPRIETARY BLEND. How I hate them. Spirodrene’s is high at 5,800 mg but that still doesn’t mean it’s necessarily good. Blends hide ineffective dosage quantity of the quality ingredients that work and an overkill of the ones that don’t. This could be 5,800 mg’s of poo. Wanna see what’s in it? Oh okay then…
- Caffeine-the most common and inexpensive stimulant in fat burners on the market today. It is effective, raising metabolic rate and providing energy but beware of the crash!
- White Ginseng-is thought to have a stimulating metabolic effect on the nervous system and provide immune system support.
- Dimethylpentylamine-another stimulant commonly found in diet pills to raise metabolic rate.
- Red Tea-has a cleansing and diuretic effect as well as suppressing the appetite.
- Di-caffeine malate-another form of caffeine to raise metabolism.
- Theobromine-a form of caffeine found in chocolate, it is thought to suppress the appetite and raise the metabolism as well as enhancing mood.
- Methyl Synephrine-finally a great ingredient! Synephrine is the safe alternative to famous ephedra, raising metabolism and thermogenesis without negatively effecting the nervous or cardiovascular systems.
- Yohimbine HCL-works by stimulating the central nervous system and agonizing certain receptors to release fatty acid from fat cells. This way the fatty acid is burned off for energy and you’re losing stored fat. Body builders use this ingredient with their efforts to lose fat and gain muscle mass. It’s not without its dangers and can cause excessive water retention.
- Stearic acid-a naturally occurring fatty acid which has no links to weight loss whatsoever.
- Magnesium Stearate-a filling agent commonly used in diet pills and completely worthless.
Holy STIMULANTS Batman! They should have named this product ‘STIMODRENE’! Mind you Miss Reviewer above wasn’t impressed. She didn’t even get a buzz for 45 minutes. Hmmm…
Bottom line there isn’t anything in Spirodrene worth getting excited about. Sorry.
Does Spirodrene Offer a Money-Back Guarantee?
YES…and NO! Here is what EST has to say about their products:
“Yet another EST innovation where results are guaranteed or your money back!”
And there is in fact a “Shipping and Returns” tab on the website. When you click on it however, no information comes up! It’s a “Money-Back Mystery”!
For a company that claims “no smoke and mirrors,” I’ve just found one! Hmmm…
Final Thoughts
It’s cheap if you shop around. I found it for $24. But you get what you pay for. And it’s evident you’re not getting your money back. I’d give Stimodrene–I mean SPIRODRENE a miss and look instead for a quality fat burner with six or more clinically tested and proven weight loss ingredients delivered in their individual (and clinical) dosages.
