I wish we could promise that every weight loss pill could deliver such results; we’d have no need for this website but that’s something we could live with. Unfortunately that’s not the case; instead, we spend hours reviewing all kinds of weight loss products – most coming up far short of their promises.

Xenadrine RZR-X is designed to increase themogenesis in the body – or in other words – improve the rate at which the body burns fat. It can also improve energy and increase mental focus – all resulting in a better, more efficient session in the gym. Okay, it’s all fine and dandy to promise me things but what I really want to know is if the product actually causes weight loss.

They can throw all kinds of before and after pictures and other testimonials at me but the best way for me to know if this product will actually help dieters to lose weight is a careful examination of the ingredient profile. So without further adieu…

How does Xenadrine RZR-X work?

First the manufactures of Xenadrine RZR-X use a lot of stimulants in the pill. That means the chances of you or another dieter experiencing some type of side effect are higher then other pills. Bear in mind that many of these stimulants are considered to be effective burners but with the good comes the bad. If your body is unprepared for these side effects they can wreak havoc on your intestines, nervous system and even your heart. Be careful!

The formula uses a couple of different blends or complexes to try and achieve their weight loss goals. The first blend is called the “Oxiburn” complex. This blend includes four ingredients: Yerba Mate, Guarana, Caffeine and Damiana.

It’s pretty common to see Guarana and Damiana together; the two are often times mixed with Yerba Mate as well. The total mgs of the blend is 1066 and while that’s a decent amount, that number probably is a little shy of what it should be. Caffeine alone needs about 400mg per capsule to be effective. Even if we assume they put in the correct amount of caffeine that doesn’t leave a whole lot left for the other ingredients.

The second complex is called “Myodrene RFA-X” and it includes Yohimbine, Muira, Puama Bark and Ginko leaf. Here is where the ingredients start to get watered down. Yohimbine is a common inclusion in weight loss ingredients but we’re unsure exactly as to why – the ingredient may have little effect in weight loss. It’s actually seen more as a sexual stimulant for men then anything else. The other three ingredients are healthy additions but have little to do with the actual weight loss process.

Now to the third blend called CytoMelt. This is an amnio acid mixed blend containing ingredients such as L-Ornithine, Saw Palmetto, Inositol and L-lysine. The goal of these amino acids is to increase the transfer of fatty acids found in the blood stream to the cell for burning. Some question if this process actually leads to weight loss; there seems to be mixed thoughts on the role amino acid supplements play in weight loss.

Final thoughts

Let’s put a bow on this guy. Xenadrine RZR-X is a weight loss pill that promises a lot but it’s going to have serious challenges delivering those promises. We like some of the ingredients in the pill but I wonder if they put enough of the “key” ingredients into the pill. There’s also a higher chance for side effects due to the strong stimulants contained therein. Also, the $60 price tag seems a bit considering the pill’s limitations. We recommend you find another weight loss vehicle.
